What are Exponents

An exponent (exponential function) is a mathematical function of the form y = e×, or y = exp (x), or y = Exp (x) (where the basis of the degree is the number e). e is the Euler number, it has an infinite number of digits after the decimal point, it is transcendental and irrational. It is equal to rounded 2.72 (and fully - 2.71828182845459045 ...).

A transcendental number is called if it does not satisfy any algebraic equation. Irrational - if it cannot be represented as a fraction m / n, where n is not equal to 0. Despite its infinity, the number e is a constant. That is, a value that never changes.

What are the exponents used for? The exponent is used in physics, and in technology, and in economics, especially when solving problems related to percentages.
